Freiraumschall is a collective for music, art, and young culture. The name literally translates to Free (Frei) Space (Raum) Sound (Schall).
After the launch of the collective in 2020 with the initial logo that I designed, I made a redesign in 2021, resulting in a type-free version of the original design. The goal of the redesign was to turn the logo into a more minimalistic symbol that works without typography and is recognizable across all formats. The most important part was to keep the essence of the original logo, so it could still be immediately associated with Freiraumschall.
